The Scariest Reads of All Time. . .

Mello and June has selected the top five of all-time scariest novels that turned into blockbuster hits on the silverscreen.  With Halloween right around the corner, why not treat yourself to a spook-tacular great read!  See if your favorites made the list?

Frankenstein by Mary Shelley published in the year 1818

The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson published in the year 1959

Misery by Stephen King published in the year 1987

Number #2
Rosemary's Baby by Ira Levin published in the year 1967

And last, but certainly not least, the Number #1 scariest novel of all-time, and the movie still gives many nightmares years after its debut:  The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty published in the year 1971
